- 2 pounds white chocolate*
- 1/2 pound red and green peppermint stick crunch** or crushed candy canes or crushed peppermint candies
- Melt chocolate over medium/low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat; stir in crunch. Spread on parchment-paper-lined cookie sheets; chill in refrigerator 8-10 minutes. Break into small pieces; store in airtight containers. Yield: 2-1/2 pounds.

"I have made this candy many times. I go to a bulk food store and buy a bag of their red and green peppermint chips. This candy is so easy to make and your guests will love it. It's true, if you put the chips in too soon, they will melt and color the coating and spoil your presentation. Thanks for sharing"
"I used this very recipe last year for x-mas. The recipe is very easy. I just wanted to add a few things about the way I made it.First off, I made it in the microwave. Next, I used Andes peppermint. I also allowed the mixture to cool, because I put the peppermint in my first batch and it melted.The presentation doesn't look so great with melted peppermint chips in it.That's my two cents, anyway!"
