Total TimePrep: 30 min. Bake: 25 min. + cooling
I thought that these looked so cool so I decided to try them... however I cooked them for 19 minutes, the toothpick was complete dry, yet when I tried one it was so doughy. I don’t know if I did something wrong but I wish they werent so doughy, because they were so pretty inside!!
These are so simple and easy to make. They are always a hit with my boys classmates! I've done them with bright colors, pastels, and camo colors!
Made these for Easter, grandkids went crazy, thought they were the coolest thing until we cut open the rainbow bread that I made also. Made 5 loaves so each family could take one home. Used the neon food coloring and had the prettiest bread ever. Carol Y
Very fluffy and very tasty! Everybody loved the funky look. Will be making these again.
Wow!!! I tried them just as written and they are very sweet (of course, I did taste them at midnight-lol). They are very pretty and I know the kids will enjoy them for sure. I had a lot of fun making these, also.
I just made these and they are very good. I was worried too about not adding eggs but followed the recipe and used only the soda. Not to worry, they came out just fine. These are so cute and fun to make (and taste great too!). Thanks for sharing such a unique and fun recipe!
I seen a previous review of this recipe asking whether to add the water, oil, and eggs. All you do is combine the cake mix and the soda (nothing else)! I know it sounds wierd, I thought so as well but tried it anyway. They turn out amazing! I used a Duncan Heinz cake mix!
These are the most moist cupcakes I have ever had! Everyone loved them!
I have not made this yet because I have a question (hopefully not a stupid one ;) So do I add the water, oil and eggs as stated on the cake mix box along with the lemon-lime soda? The directions are not real clear to me. Seems like that would make it kinda runny? But to not add the eggs/oil does not make sense either? Help!
