"I cut the ketchup to 1/2 cup and added 1/2 cup of apple cider and increased the tomato paste to 3 tbl. What I got was a real nice 'mop sauce' for our grilled chicken. The recipe listed is a good standard BBQ sauce that is mild enough to serve to everyone without being spicy. Next weekend we will be smoking a Butt and I will use this mop again during the Texas Crutch portion and after shredding."

"This sauce is really good. It wasn't spicy, so I added 1 teaspoon of Cheyenne pepper to give it a little zip. It was spicy enough for me, but my husband would have liked more spice. We used the sauce on grilled wings."
