Reviews for Sweet Apple Pancakes with Cider Syrup
"I followed the recipe exactly, using apple juice in the syrup. I thought the pancakes came out a little gummy, and the syrup had a heavy nutmeg taste. We just didn't care for these pancakes"
"I used Bisquick, eggs, and milk for the pancake mix. I added one apple and 4oz. of unsweetened apple sauce, plus the cinnamon to it. I followed the syrup recipe exactly. We loved this recipe. Very apple-y!"
"Absolutely loved the syrup. The pancakes froze and reheated great. Will definitely be making these again!"
"I have only made the syrup and I love it! I did think it thickened almost too much the first time so this second time I added more cider (just personal preference). It tastes great and helps not to have to buy the real maple syrup so often which certainly helps with grocery costs."
"I just made the syrup using apple juice and it was fantastic! Not as sweet as the store bought and so full of flavor. I am going to try this receipe with blueberry juice. I did not make the pancakes."

Super easy.Didn't have my grater handy so I just choped the apple instead. I will also try apple sauce with less liquid to see how that works. Thanks for sharing ~ GREAT recipe."
"It's too bad I can only give this a five star rating. If I could I would give it 10 stars! The pancakes are fantastic and the syrup is delicious too. Everyone in my family loved them, and I will definitely be making them again."

"I devided the recipe for the pancakes by 3 and made 4 pancakes. For the syrup, I was out of nutmeg, so I used 1/4 tsp. apple pie spice in place of the 1/8 tsp. nutmeg and 1/8 tsp. cinnamon. This was the best apple pancakes that I ever ate. I loved the syrup, and I do not like pancake syrup."
