Strawberry Pound Cake Dessert

- 1 loaf (10-3/4 ounces) frozen pound cake, thawed
- 2 containers (16 ounces each) frozen sweetened sliced strawberries, thawed and drained
- 1-1/2 cups whipped topping
- Slice cake into eight pieces. Place a cake slice on each of four dessert plates. Top each with 1/2 cup strawberries, 3 tablespoons whipped topping and another slice of cake. Serve with remaining strawberries and whipped topping.

Even though this isn't really a recipe, it's a great weekend breakfast treat inspiration! I would have never thought to do this. I would look up a healthier pound cake recipe, but even as is, every once in a while is okay. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have to agree that this isn't really a recipe. I would have liked the recipe for a homemade pound cake or strawberry compote or something. This is throwing already made stuff together to make a decent dessert. The taste of the frozen pound cake is very bland. Won't make this again.

I clicked on this thinking it was going to be a light pound cake recipe. This isn't a recipe. Should not be listed as one.

Why would you need a recipe for strawberry pound cake? It's a no-brainer, like needing a recipe for a grilled cheese sandwich!
