Strawberry Mimosa Tips

What kind of champagne should you use to make strawberry mimosas?

When choosing a champagne or sparkling wine for strawberry mimosas, it’s not necessary to break the bank. Select a bottle that’s tasty on it’s own—but no need to reach for the top shelf brands. Canned wine or bubbly is another great option!

Can you use frozen strawberries to make strawberry mimosas?

If you pick up frozen strawberries for strawberry mimosas, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight and strain any excess liquid before mixing. If you forget to thaw them, you can use frozen strawberries, but know that the mimosa will turn into more of a slush.

What else can you use to garnish strawberry mimosas?

Fresh strawberries and orange slices are a great garnish to let your guests know what’s in the glass. A candied orange slice is another fun option. If you love the strawberry flavor in strawberry mimosas, but you're looking to skip the alcohol, here are some terrific non-alcoholic wines to choose from. On the flip side, here are more recipes using champagne that go beyond mimosas.
