Spicy Sweet Potatoes
My family fell in love with the combination of sweet and spicy in this potato side dish the very first time they tried it. It goes great with poultry...and looks so pretty on the dinner table. I try to serve it often.

Really good and easy.
I've been making these tasty sweet potatoes since the recipe was first published in '01. They are a favorite side dish, & I don't change anything but the amount of cayenne pepper, depending on who is at my table.
Delicious. Made this for Easter dinner yesterday and only two of us ate it but we almost finished the whole dish by ourselves. Just the right amount of sweet and heat. I only had 1 large and 1 small potato but used the same amount of seasonings. Really good....have just a spoonful left...lunch tomorrow!
Love it!!
I don't really like sweet potatoes but I wanted to find a healthy recipe I would like. This is easy and delicious. Even the kids liked this recipe.
So easy and so delicious. I'm making this for Christmas dinner along with the fabulous Garlic Pork Roast on this site.
LOVE this! I made it for the first time recently, and it didn't last long. I gave it to a friend who said her husband didn't like one of the ingredients (not sure which one). Anyway, he loved it too. Sweet potatoes are so good for you. Highly recommend you try this if you like sweet potatoes. I loved it and will make it frequently.
The whole family loved this! Thanks for a healthy way of making sweet potatoes

Double yum! I varied the coating a little to suit us. I halved the recipe except for the brown sugar and olive oil. I kept these at 2 T each. Baked on a foil-lined pan uncovered at 350 because I had a pork roast cooking at the same time. Cooking time was about 50 minutes. Cubes were browned, crispy on the outside but tender inside. Sweet/spicy. Excellent!
