- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 boneless beef top loin steak (about 12 ounces each)
- In a small bowl, combine the first eight ingredients; mix well. Rub about 1 teaspoon of spice mixture over each side of steaks. Grill, covered, over medium heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for rare, a meat thermometer should read 140°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°). Yield: 4 servings.
