Reviews forSpiced Carrot Strips
"Made these the other night but used maple syrup instead of sugar. Used the cinnamon. Passed freshly ground black pepper at the table. There were NO leftovers!!"
"This recipe has been a family favorite for a long, long time! I like to dice my carrots instead of cutting them in strips."
"I'd made these spicy carrot sticks before and before I'd moved to my new apt., I'd made them again! I'd peeled the carrots and julienned them. I believe I'd used about 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon and about 1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar, combined together! I think that I'd use about 1/2 tsp. to 3/4 tsp. salt-do a taste test on the amount of salt you wish to use and gradually increase as needed in this recipe! This is what I'd done! I'd cooked the carrots 10 to 20 minutes, until strips are tender! To keep carrots warm, I've kept the lid on the cooking pan! This recipe is delicious! delowenstein"
