Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups uncooked spiral pasta
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. In a Dutch oven or large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomatoes, pasta, sugar, chili powder, salt and garlic powder. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until pasta is tender, 25-30 minutes.
