I usually cook for only me and my husband, so I try to scale down most recipes. But I make this dish just the way it is because my husband loves the leftovers.—Sandy Pelfrey, North Canton, Ohio
In a Dutch oven or large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomatoes, pasta, sugar, chili powder, salt and garlic powder. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until pasta is tender, 25-30 minutes.

I’d give it three and half stars. It’s quick and easy for sure and it tastes fine, but nothing I’m going to be excited to make again.

Wonderful, quick meal. Cooked the spirals separately and doubled the tomatoes, sugar, chili powder, salt and garlic powder. We also used a large chopped onion. For a twist, we used Rotel Tomatoes and garnished with shredded Mexican cheese mixture. Some wanted chopped black olives. Nothing seems to turn out bad with this. Great for cookout or a party! Loved by all.

Super easy and quick dish that the family loves. I added fresh mushrooms and a little extra spaghetti sauce for extra flavor.

I will make this recipe again and again. It was easy and I always have these ingredients on hand. Makes plenty for a crowd when unexpected people drop in. Love that you don't have to boil the macaroni. We topped our plates with cheese and enjoyed garlic bread along with it. Easy to make Easy to tweak to your liking. Make it tonight!
