Sesame Dill Fish

- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 pound catfish or other whitefish fillets
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- Lemon wedges, optional
- In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, sesame seeds, dill and salt. Place yogurt in another bowl. Dip fillets in yogurt; shake off excess, then dip in crumb mixture.
- Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet. Fry fillets over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with lemon if desired.

Great weekday meal - very good! Crispy and easy to prepare

We really enjoyed this recipe. I used Tilapia, since I keep that in the freezer. Great weekday meal that doesn't take much time to cook.

Loved it. Used tilapia. Crispy and full of flavor. Normally, I have to have tartar sauce to enjoy fish, but not with this recipe. No additions or changes, just halved recipe for two, but it was so delicious, we wished we'd had enough for another piece each.

It was simple and easy..wasn't real impressed with it using catfish, perhaps another type of fish

I'm always looking for ways to cook fish that will please my picky eaters, and this one did the trick. The combination of sesame, dill and lemon really made the tilapia taste great!
