Scarecrow Chili

This chili has hearty flavor but isn't too spicy, so even the younger kids like it.—Barb Schlafer, Appleton, Wisconsin

The sauce was thicker than I expected which my family enjoys. Easy to make and ingredients usually on hand makes for a stress free meal.

A good chili mac recipe. I have also made it without adding the macaroni , the brown sugar helps cut the acidity of the tomatoes, I would use 1 tablespoon of the brown sugar if I was making it without the macaroni.
