Rice Pilaf Recipe
- 2-1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes or fresh minced parsley
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1. Combine broth, parsley and butter in a saucepan; bring to boil. Stir in rice; cover. Reduce heat; simmer 20 minutes. Yield: 4 servings.
3/4 cup: 229 calories, 6g fat (4g saturated fat), 15mg cholesterol, 642mg sodium, 38g carbohydrate (1g sugars, 1g fiber), 5g protein.
