Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup prepared ranch salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 3-3/4 cups coleslaw mix

Directions

In a small bowl, combine the salad dressing, mayonnaise, sugar and lemon juice. Place the coleslaw mix in a salad bowl; add the dressing and toss to coat. Yield: 4 servings.

"Rather than use coleslaw mix I made my own which included sweet onion finely chopped. In place of the mayo, I used Miracle Whip which has a little more zing to it and black pepper to taste."

"I made the cole slaw for a family get together and we found it too bland as well.  However it makes a great topping for burgers!!"

"I'm sorry, but we did not care for this. The salad was too bland and did not have any tang or zip to it, which a coleslaw should."
