Ranch Cheese Spread

This is a really crowd-pleaser. You really can't go wrong with ranch flavor and cheese. This delectable dip is perfect for vegetables or crackers.—Jenna Marty, Las Vegas, Nevada

    3-1/4 cups


  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
  • Assorted crackers and/or fresh vegetables


  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in the cheddar cheese, onions and dressing mix. Transfer to a small bowl. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Serve with crackers and/or vegetables.
To Make Ahead: Cheese spread can be made a day in advance.

    Everyone loved this spread! Super easy to put together and delicious. I added a bit more mayo, sour cream and green onion than the recipe indicated. I also added some chopped jarred roasted red peppers into the mix. Along with the usual crackers, try serving this dip with pretzels......we did and it was wonderful! I think this is a very versatile dip too......I can see using pepper jack cheese in place of the cheddar if you want to kick up the heat. Will definitely make again!

    This was a huge hit! Super easy to prepare and everyone raved about it. I will definitely be making this again.

    This dip is sooooo good! Definitely a keeper. I served it with pretzles. Delicious!

    Easy to prepare and delicious!!! I omitted the green onions and sprinkled crumbled bacon on top.
