Quick Carrots Recipe

TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 15 min. YIELD:4 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen sliced carrots
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  • 1. In a saucepan, combine first five ingredients. Cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until the carrots are crisp-tender. Sprinkle with parsley. Yield: 4 servings.

"This recipe is exactly what it claims to be - quick cooked carrots. We thought it needed more salt and some pepper. I will probably make it again but add more seasonings while the carrots cook."
