Quick and Easy Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe

This is a quick and easy fudge recipe. The marshmallows give it a smooth consistency. I often have this treat on hand to serve my guests or to satisfy my own "sweet tooth"!
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 10 min. Cook 10 min. + cooling YIELD:36 servings


  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 5 large marshmallows
  • 1 jar (12 ounces) creamy peanut butter


  • 1. In a heavy 2-qt. saucepan, combine the sugars, milk and marshmallows. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves and marshmallows melt. Remove from the heat; stir in peanut butter. Pour into a buttered 8-in. square dish. Cool. When firm, cut into squares. Yield: 3 dozen.

Recipe Note

If Cooking for Two: Fudge will keep for several weeks wrapped or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

I have been trying to find a good Peanut Butter Fudge recipe off and on for years!
The results have been - too dry, too sweet, blah, broke a wooden spoon trying to get it out of the pan, etc., etc.!! But, I knew there had to be a 'good' one somewhere!
Eureka - I found it!!
quick - easy - Smooth - Creamy - Fantastic - Enjoyed by all!!
I did use 1/2 and 1/2 instead of milk.
Next time I will use dark brown sugar to see if it turns out more like the color of the photo.
I enjoyed seeing 'real' smiles on faces this year instead of 'fake' ones in past years when I tried to 'force feed other PB fudge'!!!

"I choose to make this recipe for peanut butter fudge because it didn't call for peanut butter chips which I think have an off taste. This fudge is delicious, it kind of tastes like peanut butter cookie dough. I just brought it barely to a boil and the fudge came out very firm. Some fudge recipes need to be so exact with temperatures I thought this one was very easy."
