Pimiento Cheese Spread Recipe
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies
- 1 jar (2 ounces) diced pimientos, undrained
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1. Combine all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate. Spread on rolls or crackers. Yield: 2 cups.
2 tablespoons: 71 calories, 6g fat (3g saturated fat), 16mg cholesterol, 128mg sodium, 1g carbohydrate (0 sugars, 0 fiber), 3g protein.
