Pimento Cheese

I love pimiento cheese, but I've never made my own—this was a fun challenge! Serve cold on crackers or sandwiches. Drizzle with honey for added flavor; I used hot honey, which was great! —Darla Andrews, Boerne, Texas

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 jar (4 ounces) diced pimientos, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Hot chile-infused honey, optional

Directions

  • 2. Place the first 8 ingredients in a food processor. Process until smooth. Add cheddar cheese and pimientos. Pulse until combined. If desired, drizzle with honey before serving.
