- 1 can (15-1/4 ounces) sliced peaches, drained
- 1-1/4 cups sugar, divided
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Bake at 400° for 25 minutes or until cake tests done. Serve warm. Yield: 6-8 servings.
Reviews forPeach Cobbler
"I added 1/2 tsp of almond extract & extra fresh peaches. You could add cinnamon or vanilla. More like peach cake, but what's not to like about that."
"This recipe is quick and easy to prepare. The cobbler topping has just the right amount of sweetness and is tender. After reading some other reviews, I decided to add less baking powder so that it would not be so cakey. I added about 1/2 teaspoon less and I still thought it was cake like. Still delicious, though! I also think that this recipe needs more peaches. Next time I will add more peaches."
"Excellent! I also included a can of pears, 1 tsp. Vanilla, and 1 tsp. Cinnamon."
"My husband loved it, me, not so much. I did add another can of peaches, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg too. I guess I like mine less like cake. It was good but just not what I was looking for."
"I really enjoyed this simple sweet dessert. I added another can of peaches and a little bit of vanilla and cinnamon to the cooked peaches."
"This is my standby peach cobbler recipe. The first time I made it, I accidently used a 29 oz can of peaches and it was so good I've made it that way ever since."
