These golden, melt-in-your-mouth potatoes go perfectly with roast beef. They make a homey side dish that's also convenient because they can share the oven with the baked apple slices Mom serves for dessert. -Linda Gaido, New Brighton, Pennsylvania

"The simplicity of these ingredients does not detract from its deliciousness. I used three large "new" waxy potatoes because that is what I had. While prepping the potatoes, I melted 1.5 tablespoons of butter and .5 tablespoon oil with the seasonings. Added some garlic powder, too. Tossed in the potatoes and mixed all to coat. Roasted them in my countertop oven. Wonderful side dish! Will add this to my keeper recipe file."

"Very tasty. Great alternative to fried potatoes! Next time I will probably add some onion to it."

"We really enjoyed this recipe! Potatoes were crispy on the outside and tender inside. easy to prepare and additional spices can easily be used for different flavors. I did sprinkle with Mrs. Dash's original, will try a different blend next time!!"

"LOVED these oven-roasted potatoes. I've never used paprika in such quantity when roasting any type of vegetables and I was a bit skeptical that it would be too much. However, it was just perfect! I followed the recipe exactly and both the color and flavor were absolutely wonderful."

"This is a good basic recipe. I added chopped onions, which definitely improved the taste. If I were preparing a roast of some kind with these potatoes I think I'd add the potatoes to the roasting pan to add flavor, but they are good on their own."

"Great crowd-pleasing side dish. I served this to several picky eaters, and everyone liked it. My husband and I would like a little more flavor, however."

"Have been making these ever since the recipe came out in the '90. Very good and low cal which is great for me since I have a potato eating man and he likes these also."
