- 2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 to 4 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Preheat oven to 425°. Place asparagus in a 15x10x1-in. pan. Toss with melted butter and green onions; spread evenly. Sprinkle with salt.
- Roast until crisp-tender, 10-15 minutes.

Excellent and quick way to prepare asparagus. I have done it without onion and liked it that way too. Depending on diameter of the asparagus, I may cook it a little longer.

Very easy & delicious.I added some lemon zest & juice once out of oven.And if I have any leftovers,I plan to put in salad.Thanks!

Used this recipe for our Easter Sunday potluck and everyone raved about it. Definitely a keeper and I can hardly wait to use it this Spring with my fresh asparagus right from my asparagus patch.sksks
