So simple but so delicious! The potatoes were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.I will be making this often!

I also made double amount. Used olive oil instead of butter. and used a whole onion. Great, great recipe. I have always loved fried potatoes with onions and have switched t baked as it takes less oil.

Easy and very tasty. Make double so that you'll have leftovers.

I too make a similar recipe that I found years ago in Quick Cooking. It is called Zesty Red Potatoes (https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/Zesty-Red-Potatoes) and uses red pepper flakes for the zesty part. I make them with much less fat than the recipe calls for using olive oil and butter. They are a favorite. I am happy to see this smaller proportioned recipe along the same lines.
