Onion Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

1 small onion, chopped

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Salt and pepper to taste

1-1/4 cups milk

1-1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions

In a saucepan, saute onion in butter. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until blended. Gradually add the milk.

Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat. Add the cheese; cook and stir until cheese is melted.
