Reviews for Mom's Fried Apples
"Terrific basic recipe. Don't be afraid to toss in dried cranberries, diced dried prunes and dried pineapple. I did. Reduced the sugar to 1/3 cup but could have omitted it entirely with the added fruits. Still it wasn't too sweet and had amazing taste and texture."
"These are very good served over fried pork chops. Thanks for the recipe. My husband loves them."
"great tasting and simple preparation -- I left the peels on and it was fantastic. Not sure why you would bother commenting on a dish you took the time to find and then not follow the basic recipe. The best part of it is not having to peel the apples-- you needed someone to tell you to put butter, sugar and cinnamon on apples, but you felt confident in straying with the peeling..."
"Made these as our dessert for supper tonight, so I thought. The guys used them over their cornbread. It was a huge success either way! Thanks for sharing it."
"I love this recipe! I do peel the apples though. I don't think I've ever had fried apples with the peel left on them. easy & Delicious!!"
