Mini Elephant Ears

Ingredients

  • 10 frozen bread dough dinner rolls
  • Oil for deep-fat frying
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

  • 1. Thaw the dough at room temperature for about 2 hours. Heat oil in an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer to 375°. Combine the sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  • 2. Stretch each piece of dough into a flat ear shape. Fry, a few at a time, for 1-1/2 minutes per side or until browned. Drain on paper towels. Brush with butter; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
