Mashed Potatoes with Horseradish
Instead of the ever-popular garlic mashed potatoes, this unusual recipe calls for prepared horseradish. The zippy side dish would be fantastic with roast beef. —Cynthia Gobeli, Norton, Ohio

The horseradish gave this an interesting tang of flavor.
This is a keeper. Best mashed I’ve ever had. Game changer!
I made this recipe before, but this time I followed directions to sous vide them. [194° for 90 minutes] So easy...I did use milk {and 1 bay leaf} instead of sour cream in the cooking bag, but added sour cream and horseradish while mashing them. Excellent!!
A simple twist on mashed potatoes but so good. The horseradish added a punch of flavor that I really enjoyed. The sour cream was smooth without being watery.
Oh WOW. I rarely eat potatoes and I'm a 5th Generation Idaho gal. But, I do love garlic "smashed" and when a co-Volunteer Food Editor posted how good these spuds are. I HAD to try them. I didn't have prepared horseradish, but I used 1/4 cup of that to 1/2 of the called spuds which I left the peeling on. This recipe is a keeper and I guess next time I make this I need to make more for my husband kept trying to steal mine. We had this with Rib eye steaks.
Absolutely delicious. Perfect side with any type of Roast Beef. I used more horseradish.
Very tasty with a nice added flavor from the horseradish sauce, very good with gravy!

Yum Yum. So creamy. The sour cream and horseradish go well together.
