Marbled Greeting Cookies
These festive goodies are like little Christmas cards with holiday wishes for your guests. Using a fluted pastry wheel gives the edges a pretty, ruffled finish.—Darlene Brenden, Salem, Oregon

I used the recipe to make cutout sugar cookies. I did everything that the recipe called for except used rolled them and used them for cutout instead of make these designs wiith messages. They tasted wonderful and my 2 year old had a blast making them too!
I changed it... I added 1/2 c finely chopped walnuts, then I just layered the 3 colors in a bread tin and set it up in the fridge for a bit. then I just cut thru them and they ended up with 3 nice striped of colors. Looks and tastes great!
This dough was so sticky, even after refrigerating over night, that I could not roll them out. I followed the directions exactly, but the dough was impossible to work with. I ended up throwing out the whole batch of cookie dough. What a waste.
I haven't made these yet, but could see myself making them red white and blue for the fourth of July, in pastel colors for easter, or orange, white, and black for Halloween. Words would go along with the holiday theme.
