Maple Glazed Carrots
- 1-1/2 cups baby carrots or sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1. In a small saucepan, bring carrots and water to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain. Stir in the butter, syrup and pecans until the butter is melted.
3/4 cup: 245 calories, 16g fat (4g saturated fat), 15mg cholesterol, 105mg sodium, 25g carbohydrate (18g sugars, 3g fiber), 2g protein.

These were a cinch to make and very delicious. I wasn't sure if the maple syrup would be too sweet but it worked out great, I will make these again.

It was very good, I substituted brown suger for the maple syrup.
