"I can't tell you how excited I was to see this salad dressing recipe. I also was introduced to this recipe by my mother-in-law when my husband and I first ot married She died in 1987 and I lost the recipe. I tried making it from memory but it didn't turn out right. The only difference is that she added chopped onion to the dressing. It was sooo delicious. thank you, thank you. I'm making this for Easter."

"I have to admit that ketchup, vinegar, oil, & sugar mixed together sounded pretty gross. However, I had these ingredients on hand and no bottled dressing so I tried it and everyone LOVED it. I used it on a bag of salad that had carrots and purple cabbage and I added fresh tomatoes from my garden. I will be using this recipe often. I just won't tell anyone that there is ketchup in the dressing : )"
