I followed the recipe to the letter and ended up with a batter that was the consistency of skim milk. I added about a cup more biscuit mix which seemed to correct this problem. The first 4 waffles came out looking beautiful, brown and fluffy. However, once I sampled an edge I discovered an essential ingredient is missing...sugar. I added about 2 to 3 tablespoons of sugar, thus creating a nicer brown on the waffles and the ability to enjoy them with nothing more than a dab of butter.
