Lemon Butter Topping
Adding lemon to butter is a wonderful garnish for many different dishes including vegetables and fish.—Brenda Wood, Egbert, Ontario
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
- 1. In a small bowl, beat butter, lemon juice and zest until blended. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper. Freeze until firm.
- 2. Transfer to a resealable plastic bag. Store in the freezer.
