Island Breeze Popcorn

  • 1/3 cup butter, cubed
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3-1/2 quarts popped popcorn
  • Whole almonds, golden raisins and sweetened shredded coconut, optional
  • Salt to taste


  • In a small saucepan, melt butter with curry powder and sugar, stirring to blend. Drizzle over popcorn and toss.
  • If desired, stir in almonds, raisins and coconut. Sprinkle with salt to taste. Store in airtight containers.

    Definitely an unique recipe. While I do like curry, I'm not a huge fan so I didn't put in the full amount. It was a nice twist on one of my favorite snacks.
