Honey Walnut Butter
Tired of plain old peanut butter? Try this slightly sweet alternative made from nutritious walnuts. It's a deliciously different spread for toast, bagels and English muffins. —Taste of Home Test Kitchen

- 1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
- Pinch salt
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Apple wedges
- Place walnuts and salt in a food processor. Cover and process until nuts are finely ground.
- Add oil and honey; cover and process until mixture forms a smooth paste. Chill until serving. Serve with apple wedges.
Editor's NoteTo toast nuts, bake in a shallow pan in a 350° oven for 5-10 minutes or cook in a skillet over low heat until lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
