Honey-Glazed Drop Biscuits


  • 3-1/4 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted


  • 1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, milk and mayonnaise just until moistened. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead 8-10 times. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto a greased baking sheet.
  • 2. Bake at 425° for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown. Combine honey and butter; brush 1/2 cup over hot biscuits. Serve warm with remaining honey butter.

    I was very excited to try this simple recipe but ended up very disappointed. The biscuits did not cook or even brown. I had to throw them all out!
