Honey Citrus Chops Recipe

I often serve this pork with fried rice and Chinese-style vegetables. It also makes a great appetizer by itself. Folks have fun dipping the nuggets into the two homemade sauces.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup lemon-lime soda
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 6 boneless pork chops (3/4 inch thick)

Directions

In a large resealable plastic bag or glass container, combine soda, soy sauce and honey; mix well. Add pork and turn to coat. Seal bag or cover container; refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally. Drain and discard marinade. Grill, covered, over medium coals, turning several times, for 12-16 minutes or until juices run clear. Yield: 6 servings.
