Honey Almond Butter
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1. In a small bowl, beat the butter, honey, brown sugar and extract until light and fluffy. Transfer to a sheet of plastic wrap; roll into a log. Refrigerate until chilled. Unwrap and slice or place on a butter dish.
2 tablespoons: 161 calories, 15g fat (9g saturated fat), 41mg cholesterol, 155mg sodium, 7g carbohydrate (7g sugars, 0 fiber), 0 protein.

I made this with margarine, and it's really runny. I wonder if it would be better with real butter? It tastes good, but it doesn't look very nice!

This is so delicious. I made it to go with some cornbread. I can't wait to make some homemade rolls to slather this on!
