Reviews for Herb Chicken with Honey Butter
"Very yummy! I did reduce the amount of parsley to 1T and added about 1/2 T of honey to the beaten egg instead of making honey butter."
"The honey butter is a nice touch to this chicken recipe"
"My husband thought this was terrific! And it's so easy, too. But eat it right away, it doesn't hold well."
"I gave it four stars because I honestly didn't see the point in using the honey butter. The chicken itself is cooked in plenty of butter and the breading has a very nice flavor. I felt like the honey butter was not needed at all. I would make this again without it obviously."
"So good! I baked it for 35 min on 375 instead. so easy and the family loved it!"
"I think this would be just as good baked in the oven vs. pan frying. It was quite delicious!!"
"This was wonderful! I followed the directions exactly except for the honey butter part! =) made with Mac n' cheese! I will be making this again!"
"Very flavorful! I will definitely make this again"
"You do have to bake it in the oven to finish it.... FYI!"
"Delicious combination of savory and sweet. My 9 year old son and my husband both loved it!"
"this was fantastic and incredibly easy!"
"We all loved it! The herbs and honey butter together were terrific!!"
"Husband, 3 year old and 1 year old all loved it. Enough said."
"Very good - husband loved it :)"
"My thirteen year old son asks for this every week. Can't give a better endorsement than that!"
"This was just okay for me. I baked the chicken and it turned out well. The recipe needs to be more specific about what to do with the honey butter. Good dish, just didn't care for the flavors."
"This is a hit in my household! my husband loves this recipe and requests for me to make it at least once a week. I use garlic herb bread crumbs and sald/pepper instead of italian seasonings. I also put extra honey butter sauce on top of the chicken and usually pair this meal with a pasta alfredo... Delicious!"
"This is awesome!!!"
"These ingredients sound a little odd together but this chicken tastes amazing. The whole family loves it and my in-laws raved as well when we made it for them."
"I really liked this and so did my family. It took a lot longer than 5 minutes per side to cook a chicken breast to 170. Thats why I didn't give it 5 stars."
"This was a lovely recipe, i like to use honey in my cooking so this was an good excuse. I didn't have poultry seasoing but it was still very good."
"This is very tasty without the sauce. The sauce is overwhelming. I have found that it cooks better in the oven than in the skilet."
"I have made this recipe many times, and it is always great. I think this is one of my boyfriend's favorites, because he loves honey, so of course he loves the honey butter in this recipe. I try to only make it for special occasions, because it does seem to take awhile to make, and it has a lot of fat content. It's still a favorite in our house!"
"Great recipe! I used lemon/pepper seasoning instead of the italian. Panko instead of bread crumbs. The honey butter was delicious! I think my grandkids would like this!"
"This was fairly good, but I didn't really think it was great. I honestly don't know if I will make it again. I love honey butter, but it just didn't seem to go with chicken."
"This was incredibly delicious and is a regular in our house now. My big change was honey butter. My kids didn't like it so I served it with apricot preserves. Very good!"
"I made this tonight and it was very good.I will make this often, thanks for sharing."
"My whole family love's this recipe most of all my three kids. I like to make the chicken in to strips and we dip it instead. YUM!!"
"Pretty darn yummy! Definitely needs the honey butter - I warmed it in the microwave and drizzled it over the hot chicken. I also totally agree with those who baked it. 350 oven for 30-40 minutes made it just right! Decreased the poultry seasoning by half for my teen's tastes, and it was great. Got two thumbs up from the family. :D"
"I loved this! I would make it again. My whole family loved it! The honey butter is a nice counter to all the spices!"
"Very tasty. I baked it ... Put a little veg oil in the bottom of a pan, breaded chicken and put in pan. To be totally unhealthy then put a little butter on top and baked at 350 for about 30 minutes. Also made double on the butter and made rolls and used the honey butter on the rolls as well as the chicken. Very good!!!"
"The combination of honey and the herbs turned out very well, but after trying it in the skillet I decided it would work better being baked because the chicken was still a bit too moist for my tastes. Would make again."
"I heated up the sauce. I did not enjoy standing over the stove preparing this. Some of the bread crumbs fall off in the skillet. This is the only breaded chicken recipe that I have ever made that involved preparing the chicken in a skillet instead of baking it. If I make it again, I will definitely bake it."
"Delicious! Will make this again."
"we loved this so much that we're making it again. Twice in one week!! the honey butter was a great touch."
"My husband, 7 & 11 year old girls, and another 12 year old girl LOVED this meal. SO easy AND YUM YUM YUMMY! The honey butter is perfect with the herb seasonings!"
"Do you melt the butter w/the honey?sounds so good and EZ"
"Is the butter and honey melted or warmed?"
"This was delicious! The honey butter was to die for!"
