Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Pizzelle Recipe

I've experimented with different varieties of pizzelle recipes, but this is definitely a favorite. My dad likes to help make them so that we don't run out!—Aimee McCullen, Youngwood, Pennsylvania

"I made the recipe exactly as given, but the batter kept melting in the pizzelle iron and the cookies wouldn't come out in one piece. I added flour 1/4 cup at a time to stiffen the batter, but they continued to stick in the iron. I even tried different times ( ie. 10 seconds, 15 seconds, up to 30 second seconds). I make many kinds of pizzelles and never had results like this. Suggestions anyone ???"

"I love Pizzelle Cookies. These are the first I have seen with Hazelnuts & chocolate Chips as ingredients, but no flavoring is added."
