Ham, Bean and Potato Soup
When I was a cook in a restaurant years ago, this was our best-selling soup. One taste and your family will agree it's a winner!

Made this last week and my wife is begging me to make a second batch. Only substitution I made was I used a ham bone broth I cooked instead of chicken broth. I also added spinach after reading one of the comments. I'm usually not a huge fan of peas but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and I'm so glad I did! The peas give it a pop of flavor that I can't describe.. absolutely delicious!
Perfect use for left over ham. Perfect amount of veggies . I added a handful of spinach for added nutrition. Super easy and satisfying . VFE

Wonderful soup. Had an extra ham shank that I threw in the pot. Used only water. Didn't need any additional seasoning, as the broth was very flavorful. Not a pea person, so skipped those. Watching calories, so skipped butter and used a EVOO spray to saute vegetables.
This was a great recipe for a cold day. I didn't have celery so I used a can of cream of celery. Very yummy.
This soup was so easy and quick to make. Made exactly as recipe stated, so this is an accurate review. Very hearty, definitely will make this recipe again .
My husband and I enjoyed this delicious soup, it has great flavor, This will be a go to recipe for ham and bean soup. Thank You.
Mmm, mmm, mmm......talk about home cookin'!!!!!! This soup had a wonderful authenticity to it's flavor! I slow cooked a ham bone in the crockpot for about 8-10 hrs. with the rest of the ingredients except I substituted kale for the peas and added one bay leaf. Wow! Simply delicious!
This soup is delicious. I double the recipe.
