In a large saucepan, bring the beans, garlic and water to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until tender. Drain. Stir in the oil, oregano, salt and pepper. Serve immediately.

I left out the garlic, and took sliced onions and carmelized them and added it to it. My husband loved it.

In my opinion I thought this recipe was great. I happend to like the taste of oregano so yes I would make it again.

For boiled, they are not bad. Might roast or share with same ingredients next time.

One word - Yuck! Oregano does not go with green beans. flavor is strange. (Not good). I usually give suggestions on how to fix a recipe, but I can't help this one.
