Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, butter and egg; beat on low speed until combined. Stir in baking chips. Press into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth. Add butter, eggs and vanilla; beat on low until combined. Add confectioners' sugar; mix well. Pour over crust; sprinkle with baking chips.
Bake 40-45 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Cut into bars.
