Ingredients

  • 1-1/3 cups butter, softened
  • 2-2/3 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Golden Grahams, coarsely crushed
  • 1-3/4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 4 ounces milk chocolate, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture.
  2. Spread into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs (do not overbake).
  3. Preheat broiler. Sprinkle baked brownies with cereal and marshmallows; broil 5-6 in. from heat until marshmallows are golden brown, 30-45 seconds. Immediately sprinkle with chopped chocolate. Cover with foil and let stand until chocolate begins to melt, about 5 minutes. Remove foil and cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

Fudgy S'mores Brownies Tips

What ingredient makes brownies fudgy?

Fudgy brownies have a higher amount of fats, aka butter and chocolate, compared to a "cakey" brownie. Cakey brownies usually have a bit more flour than fudgy brownies.

What can I use instead of Golden Grahams in these s'mores brownies?

You can replace the Golden Grahams in these s'mores brownies with crumbled or crushed graham cracker pieces.
