These bars are delicious - but don't attempt to make them if you're in a hurry as I find them a bit time consuming. And I spread a bit more than two-thirds of the mixture for the base, using less than a third for the topping and dropping in smaller spoonsful. They are an infrequent treat and worth the effort!
Very Good. Used a 9x13 pan. They are very close to a product that was sold at the small grocery store where I worked. They were made by a young lady and everyone raved over them. I made them to take to the staff at the local restaurant where my husband and I eat regularly as a Valentine treat.

I have been making this recipe every Christmas for years. It is so simple and Oh so good. No changes,it is good as is.
My family has loved these for years! My favorite kind of recipe, simple, quick and oh-so-good!
Very yummy! It's almost like a chocolate chip cookie with a fudgy filling in the middle.
