Fruity White Sangria
A fruity sangria with a unexpected addition of brandy.—Sharon Tipton, Casselberry, Florida
- 1 bottle (750 milliliters) Chablis wine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 ounces brandy
- 1 medium lemon, sliced
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 medium pear, sliced
- 1 medium peach, sliced
- 1-1/2 cups club soda, chilled
- 1. In a 2-qt. pitcher, stir wine, sugar and brandy until sugar is dissolved; add lemon slices, partially muddled strawberries, pear and peach slices. Chill at least 2 hours. Just before serving, stir in club soda. Serve over ice.
