Fruity Peanut Butter Smoothies

If you're a fan of berries and bananas, you'll enjoy this frothy delicious refresher. "It's great to serve at breakfast or brunch," says Linda Hendrix from Moundville, Missouri. "My 4-1/2-year-old son comes running when he hears the blender going."

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package (10 ounces) frozen sweetened sliced strawberries, partially thawed
  • 1 medium firm banana, cut into chunks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 ice cubes

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine all ingredients. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.
Editor's Note: This recipe may easily be doubled and prepared in two batches in a blender.

    I must say, I am a big fan of strawberry banana smoothies. I love testing different recipes. On top of that anyone who makes this recipe is a total dumb piece of [expletive] that just wasted all the goddamn ingredients. Tastes like a horses [expletive]. topped off with a side of whale *****. with some added gorilla ***. I will never make this no good stupid dumb recipe again for it just ruined my life. P.S. DO NOT under any circumstances substitute strawberries for strawberry éclair bars. makes it taste worst that it already does.

    Love this filling, fruity smoothie. Summer in a glass. The only thing I would change is.... leaving the water out.
