Fresh Strawberry Smoothies
Total TimePrep/Total Time: 10 min.
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1-1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Place all ingredients in a blender; cover and process for 1-2 minutes or until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.

This is really yummy! I didn't have buttermilk, so I just used whole milk, which worked well. I added a cup of ice cubes to thicken the smoothie.

the smoothie was awesome. this recipe is in the comfort diet cookbook. i sometimes add more strawberries than recommend.
