Fluffy Mint Dessert

The cool, minty flavor of this fluffy dessert is perfect for Christmas or the hot summer months. Since it has to be made ahead of time, it's a great time-saver on potluck day. I received the recipe from a neighbor a couple years ago. -Carol Mixter, Lincoln Park, Michigan

My best friend made Fluffy Mint Desert for my daughter's baby shower over twenty years ago and it remains one of our favorites, it's just hard to wait for it to macerate before we eat it but it's well worth the wait!

A quick and easy dessert that is great any time of the year!!! You can also change up the flavor by what you add into it! I keep most of these ingredients in the freezer and pantry.

Although I would love to make this as written, I know my family would like it, so I used plain marshmallow and subbed Andes Mints instead of the pastel mints. NOT as pretty this way, but family did eat it.

I didn't add the mints, I replaced them with toffee bits instead.

This is a very light, tasty desert enjoyed by all at the potluck I brought it to. Thanks!

excellent, lots ask for the recipe! Sometimes hard to find the "butter" mints or the after dinner mints
