Flavorful Corn

A pinch of sage and thyme season this quick-and-easy treatment for frozen corn. The speedy side dish is versatile enough to serve with most any entree.

Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups frozen corn
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • In a large saucepan, bring the corn and water to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 4-6 minutes or until corn is tender. Drain; add butter and seasonings. Stir until butter is melted.
