- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups uncooked instant rice
- 1 cup frozen peas
- In a medium saucepan, bring water, butter and salt to a boil. Add rice and peas. Cover and remove from the heat. Let stand for 5-7 minutes or until all of the water is absorbed. Yield: 4 servings.
